Contec oil mist separators pass EN 13445-3 strength test

For this BASF application, the Contec Oil Mist Separator (COMS) of the filter and liquid level specialist Contec were successfully tested according to EN 13445-3. The proof of strength focuses in particular on determining limit values for maximum overpressure, maximum weight force on certain system components and preloads on locking components. The structural verification at a maximum operating temperature of 100°C also included the strength assessment of the welded structure of the filter housing.

The successfully passed test has shown that Contec oil mist separators are strongly and reliably designed and manufactured. Even the high requirements in sensitive industrial areas, such as those of chemical companies, are met by the "Made in Germany" oil filter separators at any time.
