Contec split tube elements for wedge wire filters
Contec split tube elements for wedge wire filters
Contec wedge wire filters (also known as slotted tube filters) are automatic, self-cleaning filters. Their centrepiece is the so-called wedge wire element (wedge wire), on the outside of which the solids are deposited after filtration. The rotating can is continuously cleaned with a scraper. The gap widths determine the filter fineness and thus the degree of filtration.
With Contec wedge wire elements, a wedge-shaped stainless steel wire profile is wound over a support body and welded tightly at the respective intersections. This results in a stable gap tube with a very precise gap width. Contec wedge wire elements are available in various dimensions and degrees of fineness (gap widths).
