Controls for wedge wire filters
To increase the performance of Contec wedge wire filters, the discharge of solids can be partially or fully automatic.
The drain valve in the TA-01B version, for example, is controlled via a time relay or fully automatically in the CSF-E4-01 version. With fully automatic control, the differential pressure, cleaning intervals and many other parameters of the wedge wire filters can be set and adapted to the respective operating conditions. In addition, the CSF-E4-01 control unit can be integrated into an existing control unit via various connection options.
Advantages
The use of a control unit reduces energy costs and wear, as the motor is only activated when a cleaning process is required. The menu navigation is user-friendly and intuitive, and the robust housing can be mounted directly on the filter.
Thanks to the various control options from Contec, the wedge wire filter can be customised to suit a wide range of applications.
The controls for Contec wedge wire filters are available in 2 versions:
- Type TA-01B with timer and drain valve
- Type CSF-E4-01 automatic control unit
